Lisa was working hard on a boat I had the pleasure to be on a few years ago. She is an incredible chef and this book is taking her skills to the next level. Global cuisine made simple. Brilliant.
Lisa is one of those rare chefs whose global travels have inspired exciting, delicious and diverse creations from all cultures. Her love of fresh produce, healthy and delicious recipes for all occasions has made her famous for creating special memorable moments. This book makes creating beautiful meals accessible and simple.
Lisa’s cuisine has always been a highlight for our charter guests, providing both mouthwatering flavours and visually stunning presentation. Any home cook will be amazed at the ease of execution with Lisa’s easy to follow recipes and techniques. Her extensive experience from across the globe has fused together in a unique and beautiful arrangement that will take you on a culinary tour you will not soon forget.
You’d need to have eaten it to know just how delicious the dinner Chef Lisa cooked for us. Dealing with limitations of no red meat , low carbohydrate and gluten – free. Her wild barramundi fish delicately served on ribbons of carrot and zucchini with a swirl of parsnip puree and a drizzle of salt bush, miso sauce was spectacular. And her flourless dark chocolate cake with edible flowers and mixed berry coulis was like a party in our mouths.
Our week with Chef Lisa basically made our entire trip. She focused on cooking “ in the moment”. It really felt like the meals were prepared in complete harmony with our incredible surroundings. We even caught a lobster off the island of Anegada, and Chef Lisa prepared and served us one of the best meals of the entire week. She combines freshness with healthy cooking. Can’t wait to sail with her again!
Dear Lisa, This is just a note to thank you for your valuable contribution to the success of our official reception and dinner functions at Government House.

In addition, the leadership and support you provided to our House Staff during these events were deeply appreciated, We look forward to having you on our team whenever possible. Once again, thank you for a super job. Sincerely
For the past 26 years, I have worked on creating recipes that are quick and easy to prepare in the confines of the galley’s I have cheffed in, limited to time due to ever-changing weather conditions on the sea, while still capturing the quality and presentation of a fine dining restaurant dish.
My cookbook highlights favourites of my yacht charter guests over the years. With 80 recipes all with accompanying colour images. If asked to describe my cuisine, I would say – Global, I have been lucky enough to have travelled and worked extensively all over the world, there is most definitely something for everyone, I showcase the flavours of South East Asia, the Mediterranean, The Caribbean, Mexico and North America to name a few. I have also made sure to add special dietary-related recipes.
I am a firm believer in sourcing local produce and ingredients, nothing beats those fresh delicious flavours.
